John Conrod received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University and a Master’s degree in Divinity from Eastern Baptist Seminary. He also served as a pastor and missionary for over 35 years. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, John co-founded a software development company named BIBLEBYTES in 1982 with his wife, Joyce, and his second son, Phil, to publish a series of Computer Bible Games. John co-authored two computer programming books with Joyce and Phil between 1983 and 1984 which were used in Christian schools and homeschools around the world for many years. In 1991, John was named as one of Seattle Pacific University’s “Alumni of a Growing Vision.” during the University’s Centennial celebration. John went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 7, 2005 due to complications related to multiple sclerosis. John is survived by his wife, Joyce, and his two sons, Michael and Phil.
